BEHIND THE SCENES
For abstract animations like this one, I start by sketching out rough movement ideas, getting a sense of rhythm and flow before diving in. From there, I break down the design files to make sure every element I want to animate is flexible and ready to move.
To bring this piece to life, I leaned into classic animation techniques like smearing, squash and stretch, and overshoot, giving it a bubbly, energetic feel. I also used 3D cameras to add depth and make the motion feel more dynamic and immersive.
